ReFab
What is ReFab?
At ReFab, we give unwanted and pre-loved fabrics a second life by rescuing materials that might otherwise end up in landfill.
Our handmade items are created by dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, skills, and creativity to support our mission.
Together, we learn new skills, support one another, and build a welcoming and inclusive community.
Through creativity, friendship, and teamwork, we transform fabric into practical items while reducing textile waste and making a positive impact on both people and the planet one project at a time.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire creativity, reduce waste, and demonstrate that small actions can make a big difference. By reusing textiles, sharing skills, and building community connections, we help create a more sustainable future while empowering people to reach their potential.
Volunteers
We are proud to welcome volunteers and neurodiverse adults who want to develop new skills, build confidence, make friends, and be part of a supportive and inclusive community. Everyone has something valuable to contribute, and we encourage people to learn and grow at their own pace.
What We Do at ReFab
At ReFab, we rescue unwanted, surplus, and pre-loved fabrics that might otherwise end up in landfill. Our volunteers transform these materials into practical and handmade items, giving them a new purpose while helping to reduce textile waste. Along the way, volunteers learn new skills, support one another, and contribute to a positive environmental and social impact.
We Learn, Create, Grow
We are not professionals, just passionate people who enjoy creating and showing that beautiful, useful things can be made from fabric that might otherwise be discarded. ReFab is all about learning through doing, celebrating progress, and encouraging creativity without the pressure of perfection.
